WIP: little Cluckers!

After the mad rush to get the landscapes ready for the Greenock Art Club Annual Exhibition, I’m now working on some more animal portraits, this time it’s a new series called ‘Little Cluckers’.

I’ve kept pet hens for over 10 years and their strong personalities make them ideal subjects. I also wanted to introduce some smaller pieces as I’m more used to working on a larger scale. The first full set of 4, painted on 15cm x 15cm box canvases will hopefully be ready to share soon. However, in the mean time, meet the first Little Clucker…Princess.
