One of the artists on show at Merchant Square, Art and Craft Fair


After 3 years doing a full-time creative job, running a fudge business and trying to find some time to paint, I’ve decided something has to give.

I’m luckie enough to have a job I love and which pays the bills, so that has to stay. So I’ve decided to drop the fudge to focus more on artwork.

There’s a lot of prep to do. Including trying to create some kind of space I can work in… but for now, I’ve taken an easy option and started with some market research.

You can learn a lot from looking at other artists stands and yesterday I had a wee jaunt to Merchant Square, Glasgow to check out the regular Art and Craft Fair.
