Barn Owl…almost there

This wee guy has moved on a bit since the last time I posted…feel like I’m getting somewhere with him now. He’s almost finished and ready to frame.

I’m trying out a new brand of ‘stay wet’ acrylic on canvas paper for this piece. I’ll need to do a little more testing on the paint before I know if I like it or not, but I like the idea of being able to ‘work’ the paint for a little longer. I’ll have a better idea of how they work once I do a bit more work on the fox.

Now just need to complete another 2 or 3 pieces before the exhibition and I’ll be a happy bunny.
